Attributes:

During summer red-brown coat with dark stripes on the back, underside light red-yellow. Infraorbital black stripe (from ears over eyes). Burly, stocky body, short head, long athletic legs, relatively large hoofs. Horns up to 25 cm, round and circularly notched.

Diet:

Young shoots of Alp bushes (alder, juniper, pine), as well as herbage, leaves, grasses, during winter also moss and lichens.

Besonderheiten:

Chamoises are a species of goats and excellent climbers.
